Our Team
Jill Kelley MSA, CPA
Jill Kelley is an experienced accounting professional with a demonstrated history of working in a wide variety of industries. She attended San Diego State University and obtained a Bachelor's in Accounting and a Master's in Accounting with an emphasis in Financial Reporting. She is a licensed CPA in the state of California and has extensive experience in public and private accounting.
Professional Experience
Jill started her career in public accounting at Ernst & Young where she reviewed financial statement disclosures for multiple S&P 500 companies ranging in market cap from $124M to $31B including the 10-K, 10-Q, and 8-K filings in accordance with US GAAP. She prepared and reviewed numerous technical memos related to business combinations, financing commitments, convertible debt, and the set-up of joint ventures.
Jill later worked for Caterpillar, Inc where she held various positions including Financial Planning and Analysis for the Aftermarket Energy & Transportation Division. As part of her many roles, both within Finance and Accounting, Jill reviewed monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with US GAAP and played an active role in bridging the needs of the Business and the Accounting teams.
Doug Kelley
MSA, EA
Doug Kelley is an experienced accounting and tax professional. He attended San Diego State University and obtained a Bachelor's in Accounting and a Master's in Accounting with an emphasis in Taxation. He is enrolled to practice before the IRS as an Enrolled Agent (EA) and has extensive experience in preparing individual tax returns.
Since 2014—after passing the EA examination—Doug has personally prepared over 1,200 tax returns totaling over $2.5M in federal and state tax refunds. Since 2017, he has taught as a guest lecturer at San Diego State University where his class prepares over 400 tax returns each year.
